Acu-Rite 00869 Wireless BBQ Thermometer with Remote Pager at $24.95, makes it easy to ensure that your food is cooked to perfection! It’s great for use with barbeques grills, smokers, ovens or deep fryers.
The 00869 features a base station with a metal temperature probe and 3-line LCD that shows the cooking temperature, set temperature, and timer/clock. A wireless pager with LCD shows the timer or clock. The base station will alert the pager when the target temperature is reached or when the timer on the base station reaches the desired cooking time.
The stainless steel probe withstands temperatures up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit and has a 3 foot cable. This wireless thermometer system has a range up to 100 feet unobstructed, and the wireless pager has a backlight for easy viewing. Both the wireless pager and the base unit can be used as stand-alone timers.
